Barrington is a tribute to the traditional English garden. Its delicate floral relief evokes perennial borders in full bloom and the kind of care that is passed down from one generation to the next.

DESIGN

The Barrington design was inspired by a detail from an 1872 pen and ink drawing of an herbaceous border by the 19th Century garden designer Gertrude Jekyl. The prominent flower pattern is replicated in the back, arm and seat of the chair in beautifully intricate detail.

WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL

Like all our English garden furniture our Barrington armchairs are handmade from refined recycled aluminium. Each piece is constructed as one over numerous hours from many individual sand castings. Once complete each dining chair is individually finished in our customer’s own choice of colour and cushion fabric. All the effort in our factory goes into ensuring that each piece is totally weatherproof, wherever in the world it is situated, and completely maintenance free.
