Timeless patina
When the company began producing furniture in 1991, it was the only one to offer outdoor furniture finished in patinated colours.
Over time, metals naturally develop a patina that adds depth, character, and richness to their appearance — particularly in bronze, copper, and lead.
Oxley’s became a specialist in replicating this passage-of-time effect, creating what is now known as verdigris. This intricate, time-consuming process must be applied by hand and requires a high level of expertise.
